Helix Education’s Seth Odell takes center stage at 2016 EduWeb Digital Summit

Denver, Colorado, is home to this year’s eduWeb Digital Summit, bringing together more than 500 educators focused on advancing their integrated digital marketing. This year, our own Seth Odell has the honor of delivering the closing keynote, “Uphill Both Ways: How to Make Meaningful Change When Everything’s Against You.”

A former higher ed AVP of Integrated Marketing and Emmy-nominated creative talent, Seth has crafted his speech to spark curiosity, conversation, and action. For enrollment marketers challenged with securing budget and buy-in, breaking down silos, and producing great work, Seth will provide practical tactics to ease the digital marketing process, drive measurable results, and ultimately empower all digital marketing efforts.

“Working to ensure the realization of digital marketing goals is critical not only to the success of an individual campaign but also to an institution’s overall online presence,” said Odell, General Manager of Marketing Services at Helix. “There are some really interesting things going on in our space right now and big opportunities to leverage the power of digital marketing. I’m excited to bring these insights to life for the benefit of education marketers and fuel great campaigns and collaboration with meaningful dialog.”

Sharing anecdotes from his time with SNHU, UCLA, and Higher Ed Live, as well as thoughts from some of the industry’s top leaders, Seth will pull back the curtain on what it takes to innovate, including how to:

  • Get leadership on board with your big ideas
  • Secure budget when there’s no budget left
  • Grow your team without growing your team

The eduWeb event established itself as a prominent go-to gathering for enrollment management, advancement, marketing communications and Web/IT nearly a decade ago.   It brings to life the integration of mobile, social media, branding and communication content with programming, design, and analytics. Seth’s keynote takes place on Wednesday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m. mountain time.
