Joe Biden has adopted Bernie Sanders plan that looks a lot like New York’s, where state residents whose families make up to $125,000 a year can attend the state’s 2- and 4-year institutions tuition-free.

Reported by Vox, some downsides seen from New York’s plan has been how part-time students weren’t initially eligible, a requirement currently being loosened. And non-tuition academic and living expenses are still not being covered, essential for some students to take advantage.
