What spring break?

What spring break?

Reported by Education Dive, in order to limit the amount of student travel to and from campus, especially across state lines, many institutions are scrapping spring break, and instead plan on bringing students back to campus a week later for the spring term than usual.

The takeaway? The correlation of college towns as super-spreader cities this fall have made institutions more concerned about the reality of sending home and bringing back thousands and tens of thousands of students from all over the country. Limiting these events seems incredibly responsible and also may serve as a huge bummer for students who do see spring break as an integral socialization reality of the college experience.
