What are rising high school seniors putting on their college applications?

Reported by Inside Higher Ed, many of the highlight reel moments were canceled. The SAT. The math competition. The debate team finals. And these same students are nervous about having blanks on what prior may have been an impressive track record of success. So what should we communicate to these nervous students?

The takeaway? This is a great opportunity to tell these students that being able to adapt is the single greatest life skill they can have. Our admissions teams can help them get creative. To participate in service efforts. To develop new skills. To do what others aren’t doing. To stand out like they were originally hoping to.
