We are excited to announce that we are part of the line up for the upcoming PAPSA Annual Conference. We have been asked to speak about competency-based education (CBE) – what it means, what it entails, and how to ease the transition.
Our own Tom Caswell and Kari Kovar will be leading “The Five Things You Should Know About Competency-Based Education” twice during the event. If you are on site, come check it out on Thursday, July 24th at 9:15a.m. or 1:45 p.m.
Tom and Kari will talk about the ways that CBE fosters individualized learning paths that can make education more affordable, efficient, and effective. They will explore the transition to CBE, including learning models, integration strategies, instructional design, course creation, and student support.
Whether you are just starting to think about CBE, wanting to slowly test the waters, or ready to jump in feet first, Tom and Kari’s presentation will provide the insight and direction that will get you started off on the right foot.
PAPSA is bringing together 150 career schools in Pennsylvania who are eager to advance the education experience. We appreciate this opportunity, and are looking forward to the dialog with these administrators and leaders.
