The Future is Now at UPCEA Mid-Atlantic

The UPCEA Mid-Atlantic 2015 Regional Conference kicks off in Philadelphia this week with a focus on how continuing, professional and online education units draw on past traditions and strengths, while looking ahead to address current and future problems.

It couldn’t be a more perfect place to present our breakout session, “Meet the Institutions and Post-Traditional Learners of Tomorrow.” After all, keeping pace with students of tomorrow means institutions need to advance academics and operations today.

Session date: Friday, October 9th

Session time: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Eastern time

Session network track: Marketing, Enrollment and Student Services

Nancy F. Krippel, Ph.D., who has served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Brenau University since 2011, is teaming up with our own Chris Edwards, who has nearly 15 years of experience in education technology spanning the student lifecycle. Together, this duo will explore:

  • The shift in adult learners and how it impacts what institutions are doing to support the student lifecycle
  • The role of new technologies, data analytic process and Outsourced Program Management partnership strategies
  • The importance of optimizing the cost of graduation

Brenau University, an institution with nearly 2,000 adult learners across 5 campus locations and online, knows what it means to cater to these post-traditional students. UPCEA attendees will learn first-hand how the University has been able to make a meaningful and measurable impact on its evolving student population through program differentiation, personalization, actionable data, and value/cost ratio.

We are thrilled to be participating at the UPCEA Mid-Atlantic event which takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City and the University of Pennsylvania is serving as the host institution.

So while we are embracing the historical roots that Philadelphia has to offer, we are looking toward the future and helping educators understand and support this new wave of students who are enrolling. We hope to see you there!
