Reported by Higher Ed Dive, the pandemic has exacerbated what was already a critical nationwide nursing shortage. Proposed legislation would prioritize licensed RNs for admission into New York’s public colleges.

The takeaway? With the pandemic causing nursing instructors to quit their jobs, and with fewer hospitals having time for hands-on training, how can higher ed better partner with individual states on this national nursing shortage?
