More Colleges are Piloting “Concierge”-Level Student Services for Online Learners

More colleges are piloting “concierge”-level student services for adult online learners.

Reported by Education Dive, Sunday evening is an example of primetime schoolwork for adult learners, let most traditional student service operations are closed.

So Winona State University created online office hours for these adult students. And Western Governors University has extended technical help hours 7 days a week.

The takeaway? As adult students become more critical slices of our enrollment growth pie, we must provide an equally high level of service to these students as we do our traditional ones if we wish to keep them.

May you continue to fight the good enrollment growth fight at your institution today, and we’ll see you again tomorrow.
