Would competency-based hiring put competency-based learning back in the spotlight?

And this could move us away from the degree being the primary signal of a new candidate’s talent, and more toward skills alignment to a company or specific position.

The takeaway? As more and more HR departments bring analytics and “moneyball” principles to the people management world, they’re learning they need more data to go off than strictly the degree credential.
