Reported by Education Dive, the University of Pittsburgh is requiring first-year students to complete a course on anti-black racism. This one-credit course is designed to educate students about the Black experience in America.

The takeaway? This course mandate is partially a response to demands from student groups at Pitt from earlier this spring. But what is your institution doing in response to the national outcry? And what will your answer be if your students and administrators ask?
