Email marketing is likely a high-value channel for your internal marketing teams. But are personal emails underutilized by faculty in the classroom setting?
Reported by The Chronicle of Higher Education, especially in large classes, students can feel lost in the crowd when they’re struggling. But many learning management systems make it easy for faculty to segment their struggling students, and send out personalized messages encouraging them, and suggesting academic remediation and support opportunities. This email strategy can also be utilized on the other side of the academic spectrum, to congratulate students who are having success.
The takeaway? With faculty connection being one of the most memorable parts of a student’s higher ed experience, how do we make sure we create as many opportunities for these faculty-student interactions as possible – to keep students motivated and engaged?
