Employers Embrace a Moneyball Hiring Strategy for Tier 2 Institution Graduates

Employers are embracing a moneyball-like hiring strategy for Tier 2 institution graduates.

Reported by Education Dive, The Future of Data Talent report from Correlation One is reminding employers that Tier 2 and Tier 3 institutions graduate 75% of the top 10% performers. So while everyone else is focusing on the same few top-tier institutions with GPA as the primary indicator to make their new hires, employers may find higher skilled employees in less competitive areas.

The takeaway? As we look to help our graduates achieve terrific outcomes right out of our programs, how do we help employers understand the value, perhaps sometimes partially hidden, in our talented graduates?

May you continue to fight the good enrollment growth fight at your institution today, and we’ll see you again tomorrow.
