To say that life has been a bit of a whirlwind here at Helix Education is an understatement.  In the last five months, we’ve made a strategic acquisition, we’ve expanded our leadership team, we’ve renamed ourselves, and we’ve been hard at work advancing our services and technologies.

Industry insiders are taking note.  Our President and CEO, Matthew Schnittman, recently spoke with Victor Rivero at EdTech Digest about what all of these changes mean, and what’s next for Helix Education.

If you haven’t read it yet, you can read Matthew’s full interview here.

So, what is next?

  • Redefining what it means to support the needs of students from start to finish.
  • Setting the stage for big data usage across the student life cycle, helping institutions take an overwhelming amount of information, simplify it and apply it to make better decisions and drive stronger outcomes.
  • Continuing to listen to our client institutions talk about personalization, and developing the solutions that will enable them to customize their approach to finding, enrolling, retaining and teaching students.
  • Working hard to bring competency-based education to the forefront, and helping schools make a seamless transition to this more flexible and engaging approach.

To think about “what’s next” is exciting.  It’s what we’ve been looking forward to, and it’s why we’ve made the strategic decisions we have.  So, here’s to looking forward to this next chapter.
