Helix Education Hits the Road to the APC Innovation Summit

We’re taking our show on the road again this month, this time to New York for the Association of Proprietary Colleges (APC) Innovation Summit. The theme of this year’s event is “Connecting Great Ideas with Growth and Student Success.”

At Helix Education, we believe that growth and student success start before a student even does, creating a window of opportunity for schools to build relationships with students that set them on the right path from the beginning.

Along these lines, we’ve been selected to present the session, “Relationship Building 101: That All-Important Window from Enrollment to Start.” Our presentation, led by our very own Jason Smith, will explore the use of technology and data to drive communication and outreach strategies that reinforce the student/school relationship, providing the necessary information, encouragement and motivation that ensures students who enroll actually start. Prior to joining Helix Education as a Regional Vice President, Jason was the Director of Enrollment at University of Phoenix for nearly a decade.

The APC Innovation Summit starts today and continues through Thursday, June 26th at the Saratoga Hilton in Saratoga Springs, NY. The event gathers administrators and faculty from New York area career schools, as well as higher education experts from around the country to discuss trends and best practices in the areas of assessment, engagement, technology, social media and regulatory affairs.
