Do we need PhDs in Learning Innovation?

Where historically, such massive thought around similar systemic change has largely happened in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, and books. And yet, today, we still have no PhDs in Learning Innovation, and no Departments of Learning Innovation.

The takeaway? Where will change happen in the 2020s? Through tenure-track professorships or on Twitter? Or through the same voices in both places?
