Dealing with summer learning loss

How can we deal with our students’ summer learning loss?

Reported by The Chronicle of Higher Education, despite our best efforts, many of our students may not have received the full education experience of our traditional courses this spring. And our rising freshman may have had a difficult last semester as well. So, are they ready to move on come fall?

The takeaway? What sort of enrichment plans can we offer online this summer to keep our students caught up and ready to run come fall? And if not, will we need to prepare remedial on-boarding pathways instead?
