A recent COVID-19 breakout transitioned La Salle University back to online learning.

Reported by University Business, despite an 85% on-campus vaccination rate, a nearly 50 student COVID case count triggered the decision to shift university-wide to virtual learning.

The takeaway? This ability to instantly shift to virtual when necessary is a capability higher ed didn’t have at the beginning of 2020. And this fall, many institutions like La Salle have tapped into it for similar on-campus breakout reasons. For future COVID breakouts and other natural disaster scenarios, it’s a great capability to have.
