Are private non-profits holding strong?

Reported by Education Dive, while many have been predicting a deep consolidation of non-profit institutions, enrollment in this sector has remained roughly flat, growing slightly from 4.27 million students in 2017 to 4.28 million in 2018.

The real enrollment crash has occurred with the for-profit institutions, having lost 36% of their students in the past five years.

The takeaway? While some nonprofit institutions continue to close, the total student market in this sector hasn’t run away. So how can we make sure our institutions are set up for enrollment success?

May you continue to fight the good enrollment growth fight at your institution today, and we’ll see you again tomorrow.
