Are our faculty finally being won over by online learning?
Reported by Inside Higher Ed, a new Tyton Partners survey shows that faculty who believe online learning is effective has increased from 39% to 49% since May.
The takeaway? While still under 50%, online education still clearly has a long way to go to get full faculty buy-in, but the crisis-level focus, resources and support higher ed is putting toward its adoption and quality seems to be making some significant progress – at least in the minds of those teaching it.
