Reported by Education Dive, dual enrollment options designed to improve college affordability are underrepresented by the very students these programs were most designed to serve, with a new report from Wheelhouse showing that only 27% of black students and 30% of Hispanic students taking advantage of these programs, compared to 38% of white and Asian students.

The takeaway? These creative enrollment and affordability opportunities we design are only as available as the access we intentionally create for them.
