A Mid-Year Update of Evolving Vendor Lead Channels: Part III

Datamark’s comprehensive Lead Confidence Toolkit can help protect you from TCPA violations.

Our EduPortal partners are taking the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) compliance requirements very seriously, especially with the significant uptick of leads coming through mobile devices. Below is an example of a leading vendor’s efforts to remain compliant.

Efforts from this particular vendor include both On Form disclaimer display and Display Confirmation delivery. The Express Written Consent Language disclaimer will be displayed to every online inquiry generated as follows:

By pressing “Request Info” I acknowledge and agree that I may be contacted via automated systems by or on behalf of this school and All Star Directories at the phone number(s) provided above, and that the terms of the privacy policy apply.

All vendors are stating that they can pass an indicator to schools (Datamark), through regular inquiry delivery, to confirm that the TCPA disclaimer was displayed to the Student User.   We have found that  vendor are targeting July 1, 2013 as their completion date.
