661,000 low-income students left $2.6 billion in financial aid on the table last year.

Reported by Education Dive, one third of students who didn’t complete a FAFSA didn’t think they were eligible for aid, and 23% said they didn’t have enough information about how to do the paperwork.

The takeaway? How do we make sure our students are aware of their aid eligibility, and how do we make the FAFSA process as easy as possible for them to take advantage of federal dollars just sitting there for them?
